Why do people that are assigned to serve the common man like me have an attitude that they should treat someone like me with such disdain? Some of these folks were in a far worse financial state than I am in right now. A good example is when I was a Home Health Assistant for twenty-four years and some of the clients that I was I was assigned to work for. No offense, but some of those clients that I had never had could afford to own a car and I have owned at least six cars, some of them was when I was married, some of them when I was single and working in the Civil Service, and one of my relatives bought me a car from their early retirement money.  What I am trying to say is that no one is better than me even if I am working for them especially if the are financially poorer than me. In the near future I will be having surgery to have a tumor removed from my pituitary gland. That operation will happen very soon when the doctors decide on a date.Well last time I was on the blog I mentioned that I was to go in for surgery Well the day has come I go in for surgery on Friday the 10th of this month December 2010.  If it was not for me running accross a former neighbor of mine in February of this year telling her that the pain meds that I was taking for my supposedly migraine headaches that was not doing the trick and was advised by my friend to go to the E.R. at St.Joseph Hospital to get checked out I would have never found out that I had a tumor in my pituitary gland, a vitamin D defiency,anemia, a thyroid gland problem,and through a MRI instead of a possible fatal boipsy on my spleen showing that the three lesions there are benign and that my my blood sugar readings are so improved that I'm too only to take medicine when it reads 160 or more more.  So hope to be back soon to talk more on the blog.Take care everyone.

I really donot understand why certain folks say they feel they have a calling in life to help the needy and then they seem to do just the opposite. A good example is some years ago I desperately needed the Tacoma Human Rights Commission, the SEIU Local 775 Union in Tacoma, Wa., the EEOC and the local government officials in Washington State. I needed someone to help me with my employment and housing issues. I was in dire need of legal advice and for someone to advocate for me. There was folks at that time that was trying to take my in home health care job from me and others trying to cause me to permanently lose my public housing rights. The reason was that certain government official did not want me to stand up for my civil rights. Everything seemed to be alright as long as I went along with things but as soon as I would object to, for example, racial discrimination on the job I was always threatened to lose my home health job. Also, the same was with my low in-come housing situation one of my neighbors could do what Tacoma Housing Authority would call an infraction and not be in any danger of losing there housing rights, but I would be in deep water for the the same exact thing. Also, if any of you Public Housing and Section-8 Tacoma Housing Authority residents are not aware of it the way we have are monthly rent figured out on an individual bases is going to be turned what I call up side down for a better word. Let me give you an example remember how a household that has at one adult living there and the former rule was no income, no rent to be charged? Well, now everyone is going to be charged a monthly rent amount including a household with income of any sort. In fact every so often that rent amoun amount will increace two more times. Example, $25.00, then $50.00, then $100.00 i I am remembering correctly. Please forgive me for forgetting the exact website that you folks can refer too. what my goals are for the future

hi this is ms. willie,
i am new at this . i have just started with computer classes so bear with me. in the past i have spoken in front of the city council for at least four years.  in reality it seems as if they would prefer for me to stay in the box that some folks have set up for me. please excuse computer illitercy and misspelling words that i type out. my main reason for having this blog is to have the right to speak out about how the poor,disabled,elderly,children,animals people of color are actually treated whe it comes to our civil rights.my opinion is that our civil rights have been set back approximately 20 years ago. well that is about it for now. but i will be writing more in the near future believe me. for now have a nice life. ms.willie.
